At TV Santa Barbara, interns work in a supportive learning environment where they become the producers, directors, reporters, camera operators, and graphic designers. They work in a professional environment and are expected to meet deadlines and produce quality video productions.
Students of any experience level with a strong interest in media production can develop the skills today’s job market demands at TVSB.
What opportunities are offered?
Interns have the opportunity to be producers, directors, reporters, editors, camera operators,
promotion producers, audio engineers, on-air talent and more.
TVSB internships stress an all-around learning experience. After interns master basic production skills, they have the option to specialize in a role.
What are the requirements?
No experience is necessary to start as an intern at TVSB. Because it is an extensive training program, the internship requires an initial six-month commitment of 15 hours per week. We recognize that you have classes, so we will work around your class schedule.
Through the internship, you will be provided with over $500 worth of media production training.
