This past week the Alliance for Community Media (ACM) West Region’s annual trade show and conference took place at the Mar Monte Hotel right here in Santa Barbara.

TVSB was happy to be on hand for this conference and also had a large role in planning it, working in tandem with old friend and head of City TV, Tony Ruggieri.

The conference featured many illuminating workshops on subjects as diverse as; new products and tools, building equity and inclusion in our stations, and attracting youth content creators. The whole team came away from the three day event with fresh perspectives and insight on how to move forward in the coming year.

TVSB was also proud to have taken home 6 Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) awards on Thursday night, with some of our most beloved shows being awarded.

All in all it was a very successful conference and we look forward to attending again next year!
